In 1982 Everest House Publishing was sold to Thomas Nelson Publishers, as a subsidiary of Dodd Mead Publications (also owned by Thomas Nelson). Dodd Mead ceased publications in 1990 due to some legal issues and it appears that, as a subsidiary, Everest House ceased publication as well.

There is a 2nd printing of the book that looks almost identical to the first printing, but the copyright code is 2RRD481
